How to split a PDF
- Drop in your PDF.
- To pull out specific pages, keep Extract page range and type ranges like
1-3,7,12-15. - To explode the document, choose Every page — you'll get one PDF per page in a ZIP.
- Press Split and download.
Common uses
- Send only the relevant pages of a long report to a client.
- Remove sensitive pages before sharing — since splitting is local, the original never leaves your machine.

Frequently asked questions
How do I specify which pages to extract?
Comma-separated ranges, e.g. 1-3,7,12-15. Numbers refer to physical pages of the PDF starting at 1 — the same numbers your PDF reader shows.
Can I split every page into a separate PDF?
Yes — pick the Every page mode. All pages are exported as individual PDFs packed into one ZIP archive.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser tab. For confidential documents that's exactly what you want — nothing is ever transmitted.
