Does converting lose quality?
Converting to JPEG or WebP uses lossy compression — you control it with the quality slider (default 90%). Converting to PNG is lossless. Your original files are never modified or uploaded.
Why convert PNG to WebP?
WebP typically makes screenshots and graphics 60–90% smaller than PNG at the same visual quality — faster websites and more free disk space.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole conversion runs locally in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to any server, and most tools keep working even if you go offline after loading the page.
